My wife and I have been coming here for the past three years and it’s always a great experience. Staff are always friendly and welcoming, teeth cleaning always thorough and efficient and they’re always informative about how we can take better care of our teeth. Dr. Hooshangi is an outstanding dentist, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. Her practice has a welcoming atmosphere, and her radiant personality makes visiting the dentist seem more like visiting a good friend. Her assistants are also incredibly kind and professional. I absolutely loved this office. I've never felt more comfortable and at peace in the dentist office. I was having a dental emergency and everyone from the receptionist to the dentist was very comforting and reassuring. They even helped me set up an appointment with the dental surgeon on the spot. I appreciate all of their efforts and work to get me through my emergency. My visit with Dr. Hooshangi was perfectly pleasant. I was greeted warmly upon arrival and met the doctor as I arrived. She took the time to go over all my concerns for the visit both as I arrived and when she was taking a look at my teeth. I have been a patient of Dr. Hooshangi’s for many years and she excels in her knowledge and talent as a dentist. Dr. Hooshangi has a cheerful comforting personality that always make going to her office a less stressful experience. She truly cares about the well being or her patients and puts their interest first, which is sometimes a difficult attribute to find in the health care industry. I have always found her willing to listen to my concerns and to explain what is going on thoroughly. Much to her credit and due to her skill as a dentist she was able to help give extra life to a tooth that others may have given up on. I can’t thank her enough. I was really happy with the services I received here, super friendly and timely. However, when I got my EOB in the mail, it looks like I was charged out of pocket for things they also billed the insurance company for. I called my insurance company to verify they did receive payment. I called Mitra, she said the secretary had credited my account with them, and I asked for a refund instead. Mitra is a great dentist, I took my mom to see her and she able to quickly identify the issue and treat her tooth and infection. My mom was very happy that the horrible pain she had was gone and didn’t return. My mom said that Mitra is definitely one of the best dentist she had done work by. Mitra is very gentle and cares about her patients comfort. No rushed “in and out next please” treatment here like found in other dental offices I’ve been to. I have been a patient of Dr Hooshangi since she opened her practice at Tyson's Corner – more than 14 years ago.  My most recent visit was the same as my many other visits.  Dr Hooshangi is an absolutely outstanding dentist -- professional, very knowledgeable, always focused on doing what is best for the patient.  She knows her business and her patients. This past Saturday, I had an appointment with Dr. Mitra Hooshangi for panoramic X-rays, bitewing X-rays, a dental exam, a dental cleaning, and a fluoride application. I was very please to find out that the doctor is a calm, caring, and friendly dentist, who is patient centered, and who explained every part of every little thing that she did for me, during my dental appointment, before actually performing any sort of dental procedures in my mouth. She took good care to make sure that I was as comfortable as I could be, and put me well at ease about my dental appointment, by reassuring me that everything was going to be painless. Indeed, I did not feel any pain during my appointment at all, or as a result of it. She backed up what she mentioned about my teeth, by letting me take a close look at my panoramic X-ray images, as well as at the closer X-ray images that were the result of the bitewing X-rays; which helped me to feel that I could trust her expert opinion as my new dentist. I thought the whole appointment went so wonderful, that I developed enough trust on her person, that I now feel that I would be comfortable getting dental fillings done by her, in addition to just having my teeth cleaned and examined by her! She is probably great at performing other dental procedures as well. So, I would recommend her for anyone who has ever been afraid to go to the dentist, like I have in the past: but I did not feel afraid during my dental appointment with her!
